Hoi An beach ranked among world’s top 50

An Bang Beach in Hoi An has been ranked the world's 43rd best beach by CNNgo.com, a travel publication of CNN. Hoi An Beach Topping the list is Matira Beach in Tahiti in the southern Pacific. "An Bang Beach has long been popular among locals for its gentle waves and soft white sand," CNNgo said. "Recently, it has picked up speed among expat tourists, which explains the Western-managed bars and restaurant along the waterfront. The bars are a great spot to mingle, but if you're in a solitary mood, walk away from the main stretch and you'll feel like you have the place to yourself." The four-kilometre beach is about 3km east of Hoi An. Le Van Giang, head of the Hoi An people's committee, said the city plans to pump more money into tourism projects.

Ho Dynasty Citadel World Heritage Site upgraded

The northern province of Thanh Hoa plans to invest around VND22 billion (over USD1 million) in upgrading tourism infrastructure from now till June 2012 to promote the cultural and unique values of the Ho Dynasty Citadel. Under the plan, the website http://thanhnhaho.vn will be updated with information about the World Heritage Site – the Ho Dynasty Citadel. The Centre for Ho Citadel Heritage Conservation will cooperate with scientists in unearthing archaeological objects and relics in the citadel, as well as with the Vietnam Road General Department in repairing some sections of national highways 45 and 217. In the near future, the province will organise a number of tours to the Ho Dynasty Citadel. HUE, NEW EXPERIENCE TOUR

TOUR 01 ( HALF DAY TOUR) HUE - THAN TIEN– SINH –THANH TOAN

7h30: About 5km from Hue city, on downstream of Huong River and opposite the ancient town of Bao Vinh, you go with the guide of Huetourist by car to Thanh Tien village. This place is famous for its traditional craft of making paper flowers that has gone on for about four hundred years. You will see the authentic local work and participate, there, with co – working.

9h30: Continue by car to explore Sinh Village, hearing the story “tunnel digging to painting” of artist Ky Huu Phuoc.

10h30: Then transfer to Duong No and visit the Ho Chi Minh memorial house to know about Ho Chi Minh’s history

11h30: You continue the visit by the Thanh Toan Bridge and Agriculture museum to know more about the daily life of the villager.

12h00: You go back to the city or continue the afternoon half day tour to Tam Giang lagoon. Lunch in the town.

TOUR 02 ( HAFT DAY TOUR): HUE - AN BANG – MY KHANH – TAM GIANG

13h30: Take direction To Phu Bai airport then continue to An Bang village – in 70s, where many boat people left here to find a new life. In the spirit of skeptical flavour, they come back and they buillt many lavish and colorful shrine to their ancestors that can not see any other places. They called it is “City Mausoleum”, it is also the expression for the spiritual life of people coast.

14h30: Visitting around the city and listen to local people talk about their mausoleum - worth tens of trillions.

15h30: Continue to My Khanh village and visit the brique Cham tower, 100 years old, covered by beach sandy. You follow the coastal road to Thuan An beach.

16h30:You will take the fishing boat from Thuan An pagoda wharf and across the lagoon, you go to Sam and Chuon area. That is your creating moment for “Sunset on Tam Giang” photos (Tam Giang photos tour). Stop by in Cho house for the responsibles travel activities by sharing your civilisation with fishermen and poor family, living on the water surface.

18h30: Have dinner with sea food and come back Hue.
